Vancouver, WA- Answering the call for a safe and socially responsible place where people can interact online without the fears normally associated with social networking, Kuzoa.com was released on June 1st, 2007.  Kuzoa’s revolutionary new LifeShield™ safety system raises the bar in user safety while providing a rich user experience unmatched on similar websites.

Kuzoa is a new online world featuring a rich set of social networking features such as friends, messaging, instant messaging, groups, blogs, and customizable pages.  Kuzoa also allows its users to upload and share all sorts of creations including photos, digital art, videos, poetry, short stories, articles, reviews, music, Flash games, and others.  Kuzoa even offers a unique personality matching system so users can compare personality traits.  Kuzoa provides much more than the typical social network in an environment where safety is first and innovation is found in every feature and activity.

Kuzoa, the brainchild of former high school educator Jason Timm is based in Vancouver, WA but is accessible by anyone with an Internet connection. Jason, founder and now CEO of Kuzoa is aiming to create a place where people don’t have to worry about being exposed to spam, scams, illicit material, and sexual predation online.  In addition, much of the website has been designed and built by high school students.

“As a high school teacher, I learned that students wanted a place where they could go online and be together with their friends. They also want their time online with their friends to be fun, but not carry many of the risks that it does now. Many other internet users want the same thing as well.  Kuzoa is the only social networking website where parents can rest easy knowing that someone has their back when their kids are online,” says Jason.

The initial testing of Kuzoa was carried out by several hundred volunteer users who signed up to help with developing the Kuzoa community. Additional features will continue to be added to the site as it grows. A large slate of safety and entertainment features are on the horizon.  Since its release, teachers, students, parents, and people from all walks of life have registered and embraced the new online world.
