New Features! New Release! We've got some good news to share! From now on, we are going to try very hard to have a new Kuzoa release each Friday. We currently have a master list of all of your feature requests, bug reports, and other things that we have up our sleeves and we will be releasing updates from this list on a regular basis - and we will do this on Fridays when possible. Here is a rundown of some of the changes in our last release: 1. Status. You may have noticed these at the top of your page in the toolbar. You can click up there to set your status. Your status wll appear when someone hovers over your picture anywhere on the site as well as on your pages next to your display photo. 2. Private Groups. Your groups can now be set to private. This setting, found on the group settings page, makes it so that your private group does not show up on the Explore groups page or the Newest Groups listings. It also makes it so that if someone types in the URL of your group, it will give a not available message. Private groups will also not appear by default in the Your Groups panel. There is a setting to change that if you'd like to on the panel settings. We have noticed that blogs written in private groups still show up on the front page and are working to correct that issue. 3. User Blocking. Now, when you block a user, they cannot send you messages, bulletins, or see your profile until you unblock them. You can block users from their homepage, and you unblock them on the Privacy tab of your Settings page. 4. Add an Item to a Page. Now you can add any item you have uploaded to any of your pages. For instance, maybe you want a picture of your family on your page and you have already uploaded it, but you don't know how to get it on your page. Now it's easy. Just go to the Posted Items page, find the item you want to grab, click on it, then look for the link that says "Add to a Page". Once you clik this, it will ask which page you would like to add it to. Once you have added it, you can go to that page and move it anywhere you'd like. 5. Bug Fixes. Lots of them. Believe it or not, we catch these most times before you see them. Not that there aren't any still out there, but we do our best to correct them as we find them. Especially the ones that break things or create privacy issues. We will now be addressing these each week with our normal releases. So that's it for now. There were probably some other things that you will notice, more minor in nature, but I will try to keep you apprised each week as to what we are up to. For now - enjoy the updates! Comments |
