Well, you've probably noticed a few changes around Kuzoa lately.  Let me take a moment to walk you through them...

1 - Creations are gone and Posted Items are in.  Why you ask?  Mostly because we want people to feel free to post things that they didn't necessarily create.  Not that we are encouraging copyright infringement (which is strictly prohibited on Kuzoa), but maybe you would like to post an article you read, a video clip you found, a link to another website, etc.  So, Your Creations is now Your Posted Items.

2 - Your Posted Items page looks different.  We have introduced "Collections" which is a really cool feature.  Collections are like Albums for photos, except you can add just about anything to a Collection.  For instance, Let's say you go camping and take some pictures while you are there.  Then let's say you write a blog entry about your trip.  Maybe you have some video footage commemorating your adventure.  With a collection, you can group all of those things together!  Or maybe you are a Seahawks fan and you want to make a collection for photos, articles, blogs entries, videos, links to fan sites, etc.  You can do that now with a Collection.

3 - You can find your previously uploaded content on your Posted Items page where it says Browse By.  Your content is divided up into Photos, Videos, Audio, and Flash.  Click the links to get to your previous content.

I will post another entry telling you how to use Collections, but feel free to experiment and discover how cool collections really are!

We have been working on and rolling out some new features lately (which I will discuss in another post), that have caused some strange things to happen to some of our members.  So, if you have experienced any frustrations related to your pages being changed, we apologize.

We know that many of you work hard on your pages and we thought we had taken every precaution to assure that nobody would lose information or changes.  Unfortunately, there was one area that we had overlooked.  Some people may have lost content or had their pages re-arrange themselves.  We have tried but were ultimately unable to use backups to restore everything.

Please accept our sincere apologies and know that we have taken measures to prevent this type of loss in the future.  And, thank you for your patience as we work our way through the Beta process.  In the end, we know that you will really like the direction we are headed with Kuzoa.com and are excited about the future.   Keep adding your feature requests to the forums as we are integrating those into our development plan regularly.

Now, for your viewing pleasure...  a place to see what we're up to.  Here you will find new feature descriptions, helpful tips and hints, and stuff about Kuzoa and its people.

If you have a story idea or want to know about something, post your thoughts in the forums and we will listen.  We want to constantly  give you the features and fun things you want, so get involved...

For any of you that use the custom template builder for your pages, we have some great news.  We have just added a bunch of new backgrounds to choose from.  Of course, you can still upload your own, but we now have a healthy batch in case you don't have your own...  Have fun!
